Ashley Furniture Incompetence!
Ashley Furniture Incompetence!

My Mom has been waiting for 6 months to get her bed!

Six months! 18 delivery postponements!

I got this email from my Mom, and having talked to her I now have to do something because these bozos can't seem to get their act together.

Moms Email

Well I got the second mattress yesterday but not the pieces to put the bed together, namely the headboard and foot rails. Plus bunkie boards are still needed. The next date they gave me is DECEMBER 31. I would like you to post on FB or tweet or whatever my complaints.  The dates that have been changed are

July 31, Aug 1, Aug 6, Aug.20, Aug. 22, Aug 28. Sept 12, Sept. 19, Sept 22, Oct 13, Oct 21, Oct 28, Nov. 4, Nov 18, Nov 28, Dec.4., Dec. 15, Dec. 16, and maybe Dec 31.

I was supposed to get delivery on Nov. 28. They texted me two days before to verify. At 7 am Nov. 28 another text said they would be here within 3 hours. NO SHOW. I called about it and they said it was an error and would be here Nov. 4. WRONG.

When I talked to management in Corporate I wanted them to cancel the my order for that bedroom and pick up the pieces that did get delivered. NO WAY. Once it's delivered no refund, no return. I wouldn't advise ANYONE to buy from Ashley Furniture. They say Covid is the reason but not for this long.

18 postponements and counting.

Just block out my name and phone.

Let me know if or when you can post this stuff.

Look what all she bought! More than $5400!

December 17th 2020 Pflugerville office

Today I went to the Ashley Furniture store in Pflugerville to see what can be done face to face.  The manager was very nice.  Found out they are 2 different franchises.  They didn't understand all those dates and why it takes so long either.  They called corporate and tried to get things straightened, but could only send an email.  Nice try though!

December 17th, 2020 Phone call

So I decided to call customer service to tell about this web site.  Talked with Adona  and she explained that all those dates aI stated are "Tentative Dates" and not "Deliver dates"!  They don't tell the customers what kind of dates they give them!   After telling her how incredulously dumb this is and explaining that "When a customer gets a date, what do they expect?"  She understood then how stupid their process is and that I am glad they are recording for "my legal purposes now".  She put me on hold for the supervisor.

The supervisor Josh S got online.  I showed him this web site and explained all the crap they have put my Mom through.  I asked why they can't just pull it out of the showroom and deliver it.  I kept getting "We can't do that", and "I can't make promises".   I sorta understand that (Mom already had enough missed dates).  He stated he was the "highest level of escalation".  I told him I would give 48 hours to deliver, he should do everything in his power to deliver,

Otherwise

The point of this site is to make a single point of what Ashley Furniture has done to give my Mom the run around.  I plan of copying and referencing the site to:
